We were so lucky to share our lives with Sage.
We told Elena and Bunny we wanted a bitch to show and breed. We got so
much more. Sage produced a Futurity class winner from each of her 3 litters, Best Dog in the 1996
Central Futurity, Best Bitch in the 2000 Southern Maturity, several
other offspring with Maturity class placements, as well as offspring with field titles and
WCA ratings. She was also the grand-dam of the WCA 2000
National Specialty winner/Best Bitch, Central Maturity. Sage was a large bitch, measuring 26 inches at the withers, with substantial bone. She had flowing, correct movement and a gorgeous, classic weimaraner head. We believe it is these qualities that made her such a strong producer. We enjoyed watching Sage in the show ring and field; we now enjoy watching her kids and grand-kids. |
